Activities

  • Oversee the conduct of Preliminary Investigation & Full Preparation surveys
  • Follow up, update, and implement site survey planning execution for the project
  • SOW review for Survey operations
  • Cost estimation and evaluation for various surveys for project. Negotiation with Contractor for best possible price to execute survey jobs
  • Calibration of contractor equipment before mobilisation.
  • HSE audit of contractor office, equipment & personnel
  • Pipeline route and plant surveys, encroachment survey and as built surveys – Field work supervision of ongoing survey operations
  • GIS application of all Contractor chats and map deliverables (in collaboration with JV Onshore Survey PHC), ensuring conformance with TEPNG GIS specifications and requirements.
  • Coordinate with HSE department for EIA studies – SOW preparation, Setting out of sample points, map preparation
  • Liaising with Federal & State government agencies & other IOC’s for PTS & OPL (leading to public form coordination and obtaining “Letter of No Objection”), approval – Prior to laying of new pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Higher Diploma (or equivalent) in Survey Engineering Discipline, with proven sound Oil & Gas survey working experience (5 years minimum) at level of a Senior Site Surveyor or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in Oil and Gas industry construction activities.
  • Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and COMPANY general specifications.
  • Experience in management of multiple skilled and diverse teams. Should be team oriented with good communication, motivational, coordination and delegation skills.
  • Good computer skill, particularly Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and in written).
